Freeway traffic......Pass it along.

I would just like to add this.........When driving on the freeway and it's rush hour traffic and even if it's not rush hour,PLEASE , PLEASE ,slow down and take your time,if everyone gave themselves a car length or two and slowed down, maybe ...just maybe people would not be on each other's bumper. Also let others in for gods sake.Look who and what is coming on the the freeway and give them clearance.Look I drive for a living and what I see half the time is unbeleavable !
I slow down to a 5 to 10… Continue

To be a good neighbor.........

I wasn't going to put this in only cause I would do it anyway. My neighbors went on vacation for 2 weeks and had asked if I would water the backyard, keep an eye on the place and grab the mail,"yeah no problem".
I went one step further........They needed some hedges trimed along with some tree branches in the front and backyard. So I did,(of course this was one of the hot Saturdays we had) the hedges are juniper and were growing out towards the sidewalk, the one tree that grows in bot… Continue

Kindness at the pump.

It's Saturday the 15th,the family is on our way to a birthday party at Boomtown, but before we go we have to get some gas.So we go to the quik stop at Rock and McCarren,as we pull in,we park on the other side where this elderly lady was parked. As I get out and start pumping, she asks for a little help. Her son usually is with her or rather drives her and on this day she is by herself driving.So.....she didn't exactly remember how to pay for her gas nor pump,so when i explained to her how it goes,I… Continue

kids learn to be kind

My daughter saw two dogs running in our neighborhood(she's ten). They came to her and she called the number on the tags. The family came and picked up the dogs and were very thankful. We thought this was the end of it. Then the next morning the owners of the dogs were at the door with a thank you card and a gift card for dairy queen. She was so excited. Thank you for showing her that it is good to be helpful.

Thankful

I was involved in a bad car accident on August 4th, 2009 on US395. I just want to thank all of my family and friends that have been there for me and are helping myself and my family during my recovery. I would also like to thank all of the people who helped at the scene of the accident and helped to get my 8 month old son out of my vehicle. Thankfully he was unharmed and is healthy and busy playing and helping take care of me.

Words can not express the thanks again to the bypassers on the road… Continue
