... spread community cheer, to give our neighbors a helping hand and to have a little fun while doing it. As we are continuously inspired by the positive, loyal and motivated attitudes of our customers, we felt that The Summit could be an ambassador of goodwill to spread that same inspiration to the entire Reno community.

We pride ourselves on our mission to improve the quality of life in our community. Sometimes that means having unique shopping and dining options or offering celebratory events, but most importantly, it means being passionate about giving back to the local community through philanthropic partnerships that make a difference in the lives of our customers. Whether it is hosting a charitable event on property, raising money through signature programs or simply spreading a little Kindness, we believe that making a difference makes us a better neighbor.

American Heart Association Heart Walk at The Summit Sunday, September 27 The Heart Walk is a campaign to raise awareness of cardiovascular disease and empower men and women to take charge of their health. This event emphasizes the importance of walking as a heart healthy exercise while raising funds to help the American Heart Association in its fight against heart disease and. Register to walk.

Card for a Cause The Summit CARD FOR A CAUSE™ gift cards support Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation and American Heart Association. Five percent of each card's purchase value is donated to the Reno chapters of these organizations at no additional cost to you. Learn more.

Fit to Give: The Summit Clothing Drive This spring, The Summit partnered with Washoe County High Schools to collect over 100 bags of clothing for The Salvation Army. The top producing high schools also received cash prizes, which were donated to philanthropic organizations and put towards school programs. This inaugural clothing drive was such a success, plans are already underway for next year’s event.

Food Bank of Northern Nevada Canned Food Drive The Food Bank of Northern Nevada serves over 2.5 million meals annually. As the holidays approach, share what you have with others by dropping off canned food at The Summit during this city-wide drive. This event takes place in early December, so look for more information to come soon.

Gesture Gives Back Gesture selects a local Charity of the Month to which five percent of monthly sales are donated. Since opening at The Summit in 2007, Gesture has donated merchandise and/or a percentage of sales to dozens of organizations from research foundations to local schools and dance troops. Learn more.
